Doom Chronicles 3: the rescuers approach.

As Zac slept, fearful and alone, a large vehicle climbed the mountain slowly, playing horror music to set the scene. The Zerasa came down the hallway often, checking on their new prisoner to make sure that he was not trying to escape. It was good that he hadn’t tried to escape, they thought, maybe the would bite, so that he may join their ranks. Even though the Zerasa did not know it, the vehicle moved closer by every second, its aim was to rescue all prisoners of the Zerasa. The driver was a tall, strong man who was quick and cunning, but his death would come with the approaching of “the furry beast”, guardian of the Zerasa mountain prison.

Doom Chronicles 2: the imprisonment

Zac woke up in a frigid sell, on the peak of a mountain, seemingly higher than the world itself. He was with a middle aged man, who had clearly been there for decades, as he was pale white and deadly thin. The Zerasa came into the sell and told Zac that if he were to make three attempts to escape, he would be very punished, punished to death. They said the man with him had just made his third attempt, and they dragged him away, kicking and screaming. A few minutes later, the Zerasa dragged the man down the hallway, but he was now a statue, the Zerasa had gorgons…

Doom Chronicles 1: the capturing

Zac ran as fast as he could through the forest, trying to escape the ferocious Zerasa. I didn’t realise that they could fly, he thought to himself, annoyed that they could glide above the trees and ambush him in a clearing as he tried to run in the cover of the trees, afraid and alone. He knew he was almost home, he just had to run in the open for a hundred metres to get to the safety of his village. He burst out of the forest and bolted towards home, but he then felt pain in the back of his head, and was dragged upward, the world went black…
